It's the Intro!

Welcome, family! This is the Tolle family blog! Not sure what a blog is? Here's a good basic explanation. Also, here is a concise history of weblogs, if you want more info.

Most of you saw the one we run for the young family (see link on the sidebar). I thought it would be nice to have a Tolle family blog as well. I named it Tolle Tales!

I thought it would be a good place to link to fun & helpful websites, post favorite recipes, and any other news or announcements. I was also thinking that a picture every once in awhile would be neat. Anyone opposed to that? I'm also hoping you all will contribute. If you have any ideas, links, questions or just general ramblings that you want to share with everyone, e-mail it to me (hotstepher@yahoo.com) and I'll see to it that it gets posted here. Or, I can add you as a contributor, and you can post directly to the blog (very easy to do). I'm sending blogger invites to everyone, so if you want to be a contributor, that will lead you on the right path.

Also, if you have a website you'd like me to add to the links section over there, let me know. So far I just have the Young family blog and my food blog (which I haven't updated in forever). Okay so i'm a bit obsessed with the blogging thing :)

Also, please take advantage of the little "comments" button at the bottom each post. When you make a comment, it will be e-mailed to me, and also available for viewing by everyone else who reads the blog.

As a starter, I'll share some of my favorite blogs with you, so those of you who aren't familiar with the "blogosphere" can get a better idea of what these things are.

ljc blog. a cute little blog about a girl and her pug, which has daily posts ranging from recipes to neat new products.

Superhero journal. A blog by a jewelry designer featuring photos, essays and lots of inspirational links.

freakgirl. A blog with links to news stories, current events, and celebrity gossip.

Legal Ease.A friend of mine's blog. She's a law student, and these are her thoughts/adventures/opinions.

not martha. A fun little crafty/new products kinda thing.

I was just really very hungry. A very nice food blog indeed.

So, that's my little introduction to blogs. Whaddya think?
